I hope that this is not another case of false promises that was reported on the BBC news website yesterday!

The article mentions

The committee is the first of several that will be commenting on a European Commission plan for a 20% cut in average car emissions by 2012.

The industry committee called for a bigger cut, of 25%.

Its an interesting artcle that says we all want to make the changes, but we wont be held to a deadline?! - so does this mean we can just keep delaying?
