Kids Cartoons revisited
Following on from a previous post (Meatrix part 1), I thought I’d put up a link to the sequels to the Meatrix. The Meatrix is a clever little cartoon that uses the basic plot of the Matrix to push a message about intensive farming and the related issues.

I think these films are a really good way of getting an important message across. I would recommend watching the short film yourself first before you decide to show your kids as it may be a bit upsetting in places.

The main advantage of these cartoons is that they are no where near as hard to follow as the Matrix!!

I help to end the Meatrix by buying local cheeses direct from the dairy and getting only local milk.
Most of out meat is local lamb and all our fish comes from a fishmonger who covers the whole of North & West Cumbria, driving down from Scotland every day with fresh fish and (when in season) various shellfish and crabs.
