Well, not quite but near enough. They have stated that:

” ..its first and overriding priority in tackling climate change is to maintain economic development.”

Hmm, balls to climate change then. It seems that they are willing to make changes as long as it doesn’t impact on anything. With China being the second largest emitter of greenhouse gases it is a worrying statement. I suppose to be fair this assumes that we, or any other country will be any different.

This comes a few days after Bush finally admitted that it might be a good idea to look at climate change, but then ruined it all by adding a “get out” clause, that “technological innovation” is the key.

So I guess they wont be doing anything either then.

Oh and did I mention that the US is number 1 on the list. Yeah, I know, Scary
