Can The PM Take A Holiday?
Today it appears the PM is again in the spotlight for doing something “wrong” - admitting he wouldn’t be happy to give up his holidays abroad.
Should he be allowed to holiday abroad? I think so, I mean he does have a particularly stressful job and I think its in the public interest that he stays focused. At least he isn’t jetting off all over the world on a regular basis, that would be an environmental “mick take”.
I like the fact that the PM is realistic in his views about climate change (on certain issues) , he realises that it is unrealistic to expect people to give up flying abroad, or hard to imagine people giving up their cars. He and the government need to figure out ways of reducing the emissions that these modes of transport cause and coming up with new ways to combat a very real threat!
Fly abroad? Yes, accept climate change? No.

Airlines contribute to only 0.6% of global carbon emissions. In the UK this figure is 2.0%
Fly abroad, yes, why-not, but make sure you live sensibly for the other 50 weeks of the year.
