There's a lot of public debate about the relative nutritional values of organic and non organic food. What often gets overlooked in the argument is the fact that growing and farming organically is better for the planet and the soil.
I should like to suggest that Prof. Lesley Regan and other sceptics should read Eve Balfour's 'Living Soil' and Rudolf Steiner's 'Agriculture Course,' to understand the holistic significance of the organic and biodynamic movements. It's not just about the food we eat, more importantly it's about planetary stasis and healing the earth. |
