Found this great little video about how a bee hive is started, its facinating!

Saw Hugh F-W starting his own bee-hive colony back in the summer - fascinating process! Love the fact that you just need to locate a swarm that has left an existing hive to start your own, rather than having to buy your 'livestock'!

Its made me realise ive never seen any bee's since moving to Vancouver, not 1!
