Did anyone see the coverage of Paul MacCartney's new campaign for a No-Meat Monday? Seems like one way of making a difference easily enough.
Or there's always the 'Too broke for meat last week of the month before payday' system, where you survive on beans on toast... |

We eat much more meat than we should in my household, my hubby would eat bacon everyday if I'd let him. I resolved to have at least one vegan day per week and have been pretty good about sticking to it. It's probably time for me to up the ante and have two meatless days per week.

The only reason I don't eat much meat is because I'm really fussy about gristle and chewy bits... and pink meat is a no-no (even steak - I only want blood in my meat when it's still alive thank you very much!) Mostly now it's just fish and the occasional piece of chicken. Until recently I would eat mainly quorn but I have now discovered tofu, I never thought it would taste so good.
