Default Your fave eco product

What's your fave eco/green/fair trade product? Thought it would be interesting to share.

My favourites are Fairtrade coffee and chocolate. Chocolate has to be Divine but with coffee, I'm not too fussed as long as it's quite strong and rich in flavour - I'm loving the new clipper flavours out at the moment.

I've also got a Tefal quick-cup (at least, I think that's what it's called), where you press a button and have enough hot water for a single cup. Great! Much quicker than hanging around for the kettle - not that I'm impatient, lol!

What's yours?

Its a fake wasps nest that is supposed to stop wasps entering the area!

LOL, agree but their stuff is lovely!

Re the Quick Cup - I find it just as good as the kettle. You can also use it for room temp filtered water.

My favourite is the wind powered air-conditioning system we have at the moment (called a window)... Open for cool air to flow through, close to increase the temp.
Ironically it functions better than the system at the office.

The jurys out on our eco-balls - they just to not clean the washing as well as we had expected so we sometimes have to use commercial methods to get clothes clean and are therefore forced to not be as eco-friendly as we would like to be

Interesting about the eco-balls, I've not tried them myself but I've heard lots of mixed reviews.

I was sent a small sample of soapnuts to use instead of detergent. They weren't too bad but I think you needed more than was sent. The only downside I thought was missing that you didn't get that clean smell - although they do recommend adding essential oils.
