Default Steam Cleaners

Ya know...I've read some of the posts on the use of chemical things for cleaning and I try to use some of the new more environmentally responsible things and they work fairly well and since I have pets and grand babies I try to only use those. What I'd really like though is one of those steamers for cleaning the floors and they also make them for cleaning everything else as well. I've heard that they work better than anything else and only use tap water. Within weeks they would pay for themselves and it would really be worth the investment! Does anyone else have an opinion on these?

I have a floor steamer and a clothes steamer, and I have found they both work fantastically! The floor cleaner shines really well with it being so hot and I have thrown my iron away as it works a lot quicker, therefore saving some energy by not having an iron plugged in for ages. Remember too that the steam will kill some germs and if you add some essential oil to the water you'll have a lovely scent. Even better, I have recycled bath water into them, rather than using tap water.

Hi,

I've used a hand-held steam cleaner for the past five years to clean all things from toilets to sinks and showers. Unfortunately mine has just given up the ghost and I'm trying to source a new one as I feel lost without it :w00t:

Consequently I hardly use any cleaning products, just a bit of Bio-D Multi-Surface cleaner should I need anything! Look in my kitchen cupboard under the sink and I don't have a huge collection of toxic cleaners - I love mine
