we have been looking into getting a new condensing boiler recently, as our old boiler keeps stopping. Yesterday a plumber came round and had a look at our system and he thinks he may be able to fix our existing boiler and system by changing a few parts, which need changing anyway.
We then started discussing the option of keeping our old boiler and installing solar hot water. We are going to get a quote in the next few days with the different options, but was wondering if anyone else here has experience of solar hot water.

Does it work to suppliment the traditional boiler ? or as a replacement ?
I find myself up early, and home late... (not that solar is an option here, since the city provides hotwater and heating to everyone in the downtown area) |
